Qais Al-Sindy was born in Baghdad, Iraq in 1967.
He received his Bachelors of Science in Engineering from Baghdad University in 1989.
Thereafter, he started to study Art. In 2000, he received his second Bachelor's from the Academy of Fine Arts located in Baghdad along with his Masters in Fine Arts shortly after in 2004.
