OPENING Qais Al Sindy solo exhibition {The Struggle for Survival} at Foresight32 Art Gallery, Amman- Jordan. Qais Al Sindy is an Iraqi artist living in the US.
A luckier émigré, perhaps, but an expatriate nonetheless, aware of his roots and in search of a better life; a man who in “the struggle for survival” — the title of his exhibition at Foresight32 Art Gallery — wishes to create “an elegy of the uprooting” for, he has found the strength to transcend the tribulations of exile and recreate reality, thoughts, shapes and ideas.
